Live Webinar: Introducing Sassafras AllSight 7.9

The webinar has occurred. See below for the recording.

By now, primary admins should have received an email announcing our imminent release of AllSight, LabSight, and KeySight 7.9.

With Asset History reporting, Dynamic Grouping, and Automated Actions, KeyServer Platform (KSP) 7.9 brings you one step closer to Hardware Asset Management bliss. More data, less work: if time is money, and money is power, then the savings you get from AllSight 7.9 might just make you a hero.

Major enhancements introduced in version 7.9 will include:

  • Asset History Reporting (AllSight only)
Go back in time with our new Hardware History tab and Lifecycle and Loaner Checkout reports. Changes to virtually every hardware configuration field will now be automatically logged and made available on the computer and device Details page (look for the new History tab), and three new report types—Lifecycle, Owner, and Loaner History—will allow you to see historical details about multiple assets at once.
  • Dynamic Grouping and Report Aggregation
    Grouping
Organize Computers, Devices, and Purchases by Manufacturer, Status, Model, or virtually any other field in the database. Need a quick view of all of your Macs, or everything that’s not talking to the server? Prefer to group your purchase records by PO Number or Reseller? With our new Grouping functionality on the main Computers, Devices, and Purchases pages, grouping by categories of various kinds is now just a couple of clicks away. Report Aggregation lets you easily create your own birds-eye view, by compiling data by attribute.
  • Automations and Bulk Actions (AllSight only)
Trigger workflows based on specific events with our all new Actions feature, or manually make changes to many objects at once with Quick Edits and Admin-created Forms. The Sassafras equivalent to stopping a train with your pinky or leaping over a skyscraper in a single bound, Automations and Bulk Actions are powers that will make people wonder if you were bit by a radioactive spider. Just don’t forget what Uncle Ben told Peter: “With great power comes great responsibility.”
  • And so much more!
