In May’s webinar we’re going to take a deep dive into the computer hardware replacement process, including different ways to auto-populate replacement dates and costs, and a step-by-step guide to using the new Hardware Replacement extra.
Rather than a simple demo of the features, we’re going to step you through the decisions and actions that are part of the hardware replacement process, and invite you to ask questions and provide feedback.
Topics we’ll cover in this tutorial include:
- Identifying computers up for replacement by purchase date, warranty date, model, age, etc., and using this information to populate the Replacement Date field in bulk
- How to take the “simple approach” of projecting hardware costs over the next few quarters or months by populating the Replacement Cost field individually or in bulk
- Creating and/or importing replacement Models to use as options to choose from when deciding what will replace computers, and linking current computers with models to project costs
- A step-by-step guide to using the Hardware Replacement extra
- Retiring old machines
