Deployment on all but the smallest networks can require planning and testing. The KeyAccess installers have built-in features to help make the task of network-wide deployment easier.
The KeyAccess client must be installed on all workstations (physical or virtual or thin server) you want to report inventory and usage data to the Server. It communicates on UDP 19283 by default, or over https if desired. All critical communications are initiated from client to server. The client is extremely small and low resource in nature. Sessions with the server are attempted when a user logs in to the OS. You may also use our Audit Utility if you only want to gather inventory but not have an active agent gathering Usage data.
