For medium and large K2 installations there are typically multiple Administrators with different roles and responsibilities. With Federated Administration, these roles can be defined, and access can be restricted to just those areas where each administrator has a need.
Use the built-in Roles to delegate access, or create your own. Access can be granted at a high level, or down to a finer grain as needed. Align responsibilities with Sections to aid in the organization of administration.
Leverage existing identity services like Active Directory to provide authentication and authorization of K2 Admin accounts. Integrating with AD means admins can use their primary name and account, and also allows for Single Sign-on.
