Search Behavior:

  • Case Insensitive:
    searching for “test” and “TEST” will find the same results
     
  • Exact Match:
    searching for “Program Variant” will NOT match a document that includes text “Program in the same Variant”
     
  • Begins With:
    searching for “test” will match “test”, “testing;” and “tested”, but NOT “retest” - (by default, text matches the beginning of each word)
     
  • Wild Card:
    searching for “*est” will match “test”, but NOT “testing”.
    searching for “*est*” will match “testing”

3 matches - Authentication

Click on the left link, "3 matches", to see the context for all the hits within the document.

Click on the right link, "Authentication" (document name) to see the entire document without matches highlighted.

 

Matches for a search are typically found in multiple documents, and perhaps multiple times in each document. Textual context for the first hit in each document is displayed for each document - the actual match is highlighted in yellow.
